Balsam Gap Overlook, Milepost 442

Near Waynesville, North Carolina, we got on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Balsam Gap is where the Black Mountains and the Great Craggies connect. The forest at the lookout was spectacular. Green giant trees, reaching up to the sky. Of course, I walked around and caught the sun through the trees. I could have stayed here all day...
